SNOW DAY IN PITTSBURGH!!!

Today, In The Heights had a record 2 show-day OFF because of the 17.5" of snow had by Pittsburgh overnight. Thank you Pittsburgh! Instead of being at the show and working all day in the theater, we got to jump around in the snow and watch "Couples Retreat." I do not recommend the movie, however; it ended up being slow and not as comedic as intended.

I had Indian food with the family today at one of the 5 restaurants open in downtown. It was calming and brought me down from my frantic thought process today. I was thinking gym, show, health, friends, rest, myself, this blog, there was a lot of nothing on my plate today and it was nice to have dinner with people who are calm by nature.

We still miss Rebecca, but Rosie from Broadway is gracing our stage, filling in for the next 2 weeks. She is amazing and so fun to work with. It really is true that we are family--the Bway and the Tour. It's like I gained the cousins I've always wanted. The tour company also got our "peace.love.world" apparel in this week. They are such interesting and exclusive sweats!!! They are super comfortable and the designs are so "heights." :) I will most more pics of the SNOW DAY and I am SURE a video soon.

I miss home and family, but will soon return and need to appreciate the here and now.

p.s. reading the Tao of Pooh--good read, a lot to absorb, more later.
